Team GB
BOA appoints Thinkfarm for Team GB brand boost
Having worked with the British Olympic Association on the Olympic torch relay and Team GB parade 2004, Thinkfarm has just begun a really exciting new project with the BOA - to develop a clear brand position and brand expression for Team GB. With so much attention on the London 2012 games it is crucial that Team GB can retain its profile in the run up to, during and specifically after 2012. The correct brand positioning will ensure that Team GB has a long and strong future for the long term beyond 2012.
Promoting the most important show of the day
The battle for listeners at breakfast time is a big deal for every radio station because early morning audiences stay with the station for the rest of the day. Virgin Radio completed a great strategic move when they recruited Sony Radio Academy award winning DJ Christian O'Connell. Thinkfarm's job was to make sure as many people knew about it as possible - consumer audiences and trade. Thinkfarm developed tools to support the trade launch as well as merchandise and communications for the public launch in January. Chances are you will have seen the bold, multi format posters at many major sites around the country declaring the fact, as endorsed by the Radio Awards, that Christian's show is the BEST breakfast show on radio. If audience participation on the show is anything to go by, it appears that a lot of people noticed. (more on Virgin Radio)

ICAP Charity Day
ICAP's Charity Day - a new look and a new record
ICAP is the world's largest voice and electronic interdealer broker with a daily average transaction volume in excess of $1trillion. Over the past 13 years, ICAP has raised over £27million ($49million) for a variety of charities around the world by donating all of its margins, and brokers' commissions from one days trading each year. For the last three years Thinkfarm has created direct mail, email drops and a variety of promotional gifts and tools to promote the day because 'every deal counts' for charitable causes when people trade with ICAP on that day. For the event in December '05, Thinkfarm created a new identity for Charity Day, direct marketing tools, office decorations and a brochure that described the work that had been funded over the previous year. The results were amazing and a total of £5.2million was raised - £1million more than the total for 2004. We are now producing a video which presents the aims, fun and results of this fantastic fund raising effort. (more on ICAP)
Tumbleweed
Tumbleweed commissions another attention grabber
We all know that whilst the internet provides fantastic ways to communicate and transfer data, it is also inherently risky unless precautions and protocols are in place. Tumbleweed is one of the world's leading providers of communications security software and tools. Having already created a video for their Email Firewall products, Thinkfarm were asked to provide another for Tumbleweed's Secure File Transport products and services. Briefed to grab the attention of an audience made up of IT and non IT experts, Thinkfarm created a direct, engaging video asking questions about existing security measures and presenting shocking statistics that clearly present the case that all is not well. The story leads to the obvious conclusion that people really should talk to Tumbleweed's experts. (more on Tumbleweed)
