| Welcome to Thinkfarm’s occasional bulletin on projects completed recently or in progress. We have included five examples of the way we tell brand stories in whichever media channels will hit a clients' target audience square on and trigger a reaction. There are many more on our website. So, if you need a direct, engaging campaign or marketing communication designed to achieve a business goal, entertain, educate or further the interests of a cause, drop us an email at enquiries@thinkfarm.co.uk |

Virgin Radio We've been working closely with Virgin Radio ever since they asked us to create their brand identity to launch the station nearly 12 years ago. We feel very much part of the team and during that time we've developed campaigns across every media platform imaginable to reach consumer and trade audiences alike. Mixing the best music of the day with classic tracks to create a station with national appeal, Virgin connects a diverse community “with riffs, beats and rhymes that speak volumes about today’s world as much as experiences that have shaped our past”. This year, we launched a strong new campaign founded on the shared belief in rock’n’roll that the station has with its audience. Our ‘Music We All Love’ strap line re-establishes traditional Virgin ‘challenger brand’ values by positioning the station as consumers - as much as providers – of their own music. We’ve also made a set of three TV and Cinema ads to drive the message home with simplicity and style. (more on Virgin Radio) |

Roundhouse We started working with the Roundhouse team several years ago, creating an identity for the campaign to raise funds for the rebuilding of a landmark building that was a Victorian Railway shed but went on to host some of the UK's most memorable music and arts performances of the last 30 years. Now the funds are raised, building work is underway and the Roundhouse will be ready to open in 2006 and we have led a strategic brand positioning project and created a new identity system for the next phase of its development. The Roundhouse will now have a full program of performances as well as provide young people with a space to create. (more on Roundhouse) |

The O2 London's landmark building formerly known as The Millennium Dome is being given a new lease of life as an entertainment district by its new owners, Anschutz Entertainment Group. It will include a purpose designed 22,000 seat performance space for music and sport, exhibition halls, music clubs, restaurants, bars and a music hall of fame. Working with AEG, O2 and its agency, we developed an identity for The O2 and communications materials for AEG's marketing of sponsorship opportunities, hospitality suites and retail space. Work to roll out consumer communications is also underway. (more on The O2) |

Good African Coffee We were introduced to a Ugandan businessman who put everything on the line to create a solid African owned business that generates sustainable wealth for coffee farming communities throughout Africa and the business itself which allocates 50% of its profits to community projects. Briefed as a branding and packaging project, we saw the potential to use the packaging as a campaign messaging space. We created the brand name, identity, packaging, website, brochure and launch materials for an event at the House of Lords in the week before the G8 summit focused on reducing poverty in Africa. Lavish Lounge Bars Lavish Lounge Bars offer great cocktails and food you can share to people living in affluent areas outside of London. The bars are away from the city but ooze metropolitan style. Having operated their first bar for a year, they asked us to complete a brand audit and repositioning exercise. We looked at every aspect of the business and advised them on how they could better deliver the promise of the brand that we recreated with them. We developed a new identity, information architecture, advertising campaign and a comprehensive brand guide that is used to brief staff, partners and suppliers ensuring that everybody gets Lavish as the brand rolls out.
